How often have you named a Controller or a Class, only to realize a little while later that your name makes little sense? You debate internally if you really want to rename it since you already imported it in a variety of places that you don’t even remember and… Ugh what a nightmare!
Never fear, XCode is here.
There’s a handy feature that enables you to rename and change all references in a wizard-like interface.
If it’s a controller or class, simply right click on it’s declaration and choose “Refactor” then “Rename”. You can click through a few screens designed to help you confirm what you wish to do… and BOOM. You’re done.
It’s awesome! You can also do this with variables as well.
