About Me

hi. i’m len.

I am a mobile engineer at Zola, where we are re-inventing the modern wedding registry. I work on mobile apps using Objective C and Swift and I enjoy building things with Github, Parse, SpriteBuilder and Cocos2D. For fun, I also build mobile games.

once upon a time

I was a supply chain consultant helping companies forecast demand, reduce inventory and improve their sales & operational planning processes. But I wanted to learn how to build digital products. I worked hard and got a job very early on at General Assembly as a Front End Web Developer and helped spread the word about GA to thousands of people who wanted to learn more about business, technology and design. While working for GA, I took classes in User Experience Design, Front End Web Development and Ruby on Rails.

Eventually, I left General Assembly to pursue mobile development, enrolling full-time in the iOS Immersive Program at Flatiron School. And then I doubled down on the Make School Summer Academy, where I built an original iOS game using Objective C, SpriteBuilder and Cocos2D. My game Shoebox Showdown won an Audience Choice award and is available now on the App Store.
